Richard started his wine career in 1992, as a trainee with Majestic Wine. After 8 years in retail, he moved in the Commercial Department in London. He rose to Head of Regional sales, leaving the company this year to join Wine Utopia as Sales Director. His personal love is Bordeaux and Northern Italian Reds.

Andy has worked in the wine trade for over fourteen years, mainly in and around Winchester, so he is already a familiar face to many customers. Andy is particularly fond of Champagne (the richer the better!) and the wines of Spain. He is happiest when sat next to an open fire during the winter months, with some braised lamb on a fork in one hand and a glass of mature Rioja in the other!

Yolly joined us in July 2018. She has just over 14 years experience in hospitality management which led her to uncover a passion for wine. Since joining she managed our Winchester store but in early February 2019 she was promoted manager of our flagship store in Stockbridge.

Yolly is currently studying towards her WSET Level 3 wine course & exam due to take later on in the year.

Hannah’s passion for wine started in 2012 following a trip to (most of) Australia’s wine regions! She currently holds a WSET Level 3 with aspirations of continuing onto diploma level. She comes to the team having spent 7 years as a nurse in A&E. Hannah is in her happy place with anything Italian in her glass! Italy being a special place having got married on a Tuscan vineyard in the middle of Chianti country.

Tim is well-qualified with his WSET Diploma and is a crucial member of the Wine Utopia team. From managing a store to making sure your delivery gets to you on time, Tim is an expert in all areas.

Many of our regular customers in Stockbridge will know Emma for her warm welcome and friendly, relaxed personality. Coming from Broughton (quite possibly the village with the highest consumption of wine in the Test Valley!), she is well qualified to assist with all your wine purchasing.

Chris is an asset to all three Wine Utopia shops when called upon. Approachable and enthusiastic, Chris is as comfortable assisting you with your wine purchases at Wine Utopia as he is guiding his guests around the vineyards of the south of France during the summer months.
