2 x Stone's Throw Chardonnay 2020, Victoria, Australia
This always shows prominent tangerine notes on the nose and this vintage also shows intense grapefruit, lime and hints of spice. Refreshingly unoaked, citrus and white peach flavours combine with a zesty fresh acidity and a clean, bright and linear mineral finish.
2 x False Bay ‘Windswept’ Sauvignon Blanc 2020, Coastal Region, South Africa
Fabulous seaside Sauvignon. Fresh and zesty with grassy and dry bay leaf aromatics, mineral notes, with hints of richness. This is a restrained Sauvignon Blanc with a palate that has lots of minerality and citrus with lightly herbal notes. The finish is ripe and gently honeyed with crisp green apple fruit and fresh acidity.
2 x Debajo Dry Farmed Carignan 2021, Central Valley, Chile
Our wine is edgy, with good acidity and tannins but also has a lovely purity of blackberry and mulberry fruit. It has a long, fresh finish leaving you wanting more!
2 x Boutinot 'Les Coteaux' Cotes du Rhone Villages 2020 (Vegetarian, Vegan), Rhone Valley, France
Immediately impressive, this wine reveals its class from the start. Brambly fruit underpinned by subtle oaky nuances, lovely sweet spice - warm star anise with a touch of cinnamon. This classic Côtes du Rhône Villages is enriched with specially-selected parcels from Séguret and Sablet.
2 x Araldica Barbera d’Asti ‘Ceppi Storici’ 2018, Piedmont, Italy
Warm, spicy aromas of blueberries and plums, with subtle, smoky notes. The palate combines generous ripe fruit with lively acidity, with juicy cherry characters and spicy notes beneath. Soft oak tannins offer an extra dimension to the texture. A refreshing smack of fruity acidity on the finish gives plenty of definition to the ripe fruit.
