Oak Valley Riesling expresses a fruit basket of aromas, particularly yellow peach, litchi, green apple and watermelon. The palate bursts with flavours of apricots and grapefruit, and is cleansed with a finish of linear acidity. This is a cracking little Riesling, excellent value and just so well balanced and delicious.

Strong ruby red with an ample bouquet of cherry, raspberry and red currant which lends a lovely freshness to the wine. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and well-structured, warm and round with a long-lasting and persistent flavour.
2* Boutinot La Cote Sauvage Cairanne 2019, Rhone, France
A serious, restrained and complex example of cru Cairanne. This is rich, intense and drenched in dark red fruits. With morello cherry and a touch of cinnamon spice on the nose, soft dark plummy fruit, liquorice, chocolate, a hint of black tea on the palate, this wine is full flavoured and smooth with supple tannins. A rich, savoury satisfying mouthful!
2* Wente Southern Hills Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, Livermore Valley, California, USA
Aromatics of warm baking spices. On the palate this wine delivers ripe blackberry and fig with round, smooth tannins. Contains a splash of Petite Sirah (aka Durif) and Petit Verdot to add complexity and spice.
1* Leonce Bocquet Crémant de Bourgogne Brut NV, Burgundy, France
Light golden colour with a generous forming a nice cord on the glass. Fine and very expressive on the nose, deliciously fruity with dried fruit (apricots) aromas, citrus notes and a little Viennese pastry. Well-balanced in mouth with a very pleasant and persistent freshness. A great alternative to Champagne.
1* Ginestet Classique Sauternes 2020 (50cl)
A classic botrytis nose; rich in honey and sweet floral tones with hints of citrus marmalade. The palate is rich and smooth with similar sweet floral and honeyed apricot flavours but with a faintly citrus note in the finish which makes it very moreish.
