We love a classic Chablis at Christmas! It is full of ripe fruit, a hint of oak but still backed up with lots of minerality! We tend to enjoy this with Salmon en croute on Christmas Eve.
Domaine Roblin Sancerre Blanc ‘Terres Blanches’ 2019
You cannot go wrong with this lovely Sancerre! We love it with smoked trout blinis and any style of canapes at our Christmas parties. It is fresh, vibrant with an appealing stony finish.

Christmas day is not complete without a good bottle of claret. It is pretty diverse because it goes well with Christmas dinner, or you can have it with a selection of cheese. It is rich and plummy- an exceptional right bank Bordeaux!
Boutinot ‘La Côte Sauvage’, Cairanne AOC 2018
We love a good red Cotes du Rhone red on Boxing Day. We traditionally cook Beef Wellington so the dark red fruit characters of this Cairanne are a match made in heaven with the meat.

Cheese, cheese, cheese! We are cheese fiends in our family, so port is a must! This late bottled vintage port has rich plum & blackberry characters, layered with spiciness. Particularly good with, good old stilton cheese.
